SAINT LUCIA: CHANGE OF NAME POLICY as of March 2026

Before Citizenship Application Submission

When submitting a citizenship application for Saint Lucia, all necessary documentation, such as a deed poll, must be provided, along with the applicable Due Diligence Fees.

  • Applicant- US $8,000

  • Qualifying dependant over 16 years of age - US $5,000

Upon Citizenship Approval

Where a name change occurs after citizenship approval, but before passport issuance, the applicant must provide written notice to the Citizenship by Investment Unit before applying for a passport.

This notice must include:

(a) A certified copy of the Deed Poll; and

(b) The prescribed change of name due diligence fee:

  •  Applicant: US $10,000

  • Qualifying dependent over 16 years of age: US $7,500

The Citizenship by Investment Unit will proceed with due diligence checks, and the results will be shared with the citizen and the Immigration Department.

The Immigration Department shall then proceed with processing and issuance of the passport upon receipt of all required documentation and applicable fees.

 The 5year rule

Upon renewing your passport, please ensure the submission of all necessary documentation for the name change as part of your application.
